Stuart Russell B.1991
Writer | Audio Producer | Artist
I'm a multi-award-winning documentarian, creating sound-rich work to ignite the creative mind. Among other things I'm most passionate about storytelling, history and the arts.
I hold a first-class honours degree in media production and a master's degree with distinction in audio production. More importantly though, I played Lord Sandrigham's Scribe in the hit television series Outlander.

I'm Scottish, live in England, work in Wales, and dream of the world.
Where it all began...
In 2013 I created Arts in Fife, a podcast for Scottish artists to discuss their work. It quickly gained recognition and kick-started my passion for audio storytelling. In 2014 I was included in the New Year's Honours List, alongside my hero, the late Dame Angela Lansbury. For a child raised on a council estate, this experience was utterly surreal and motivated me to pursue audio production.
Where I'm at...
I'm currently a full-time producer at the BBC and self-produce my own media projects, showcasing them for free via Eyebrow Media. I always hope to foster creative collaboration and make positive connections with fellow artists and storytellers. One day I hope to apply my skills to film.
