Hello, I'm a multi award winning documentarian, creating sound rich work to ignite the creative mind. Among other things I'm most passionate about storytelling, history and the arts.
I hold a first class honours degree in media production and a masters with distinction in audio production. More importantly though, I played Lord Sandrigham's Scribe in the hit television series, Outlander.
I'm Scottish, live in England, work in Wales, and dream of the world.
How it all began...
In 2013 I created my first ever podcast. 'Arts In Fife' provided a platform for Scottish artists to discuss their work, a simple premise that gained global recognition and kick started my passion for audio storytelling. In 2014 I made the New Years Honours List, which I shared with my hero, the late Dame Angela Lansbury... For a kid who grew up on a council estate in Scotland, this was surreal and more than encouraged me to continue.
Where I am now...
I'm currently a full time producer at the BBC and self produce my own media projects, showcasing them for free via Eyebrow Media. I always hope to foster creative collaboration and make positive connections with fellow artists and storytellers. My dream is to apply my skills to film.
